Team Volunteer Duties

Asst. Coach – (need background check) responsible to assist with practices, run hitting stations, fielding drills and any other great ideas your manager or coach may have. You need to be available for most practices.

Team Parent – responsible for organizing team events, coordinate with coach for team parties, compile phone list for distribution, liaison between league/coach and parents. Information from the league will be distributed through you to your team regarding fundraisers, events, trips, opening ceremonies, silent auction, photo day.
 
Field Maintenance – arrive 45 mins. prior to games to set up field, drag field, chalk lines, set up bases, put out trash cans, clean up dugouts for home games. When we are visitor you are responsible for emptying trash. No experience is necessary, clinic will be held to instruct you on proper care of field and how to chalk and drag field properly.

Dugout Parent (need background check) – assist coaches with line up, assist players with getting equipment ready, bats, helmets, gloves, catcher’s gear. Make sure batting line up is followed and girls are behaving in the dugout. Encourage girls to cheer their teammates on!

Scorekeeper – (not required for T-ball) keep score for coach on away games, keep official scorebook on home games. Two scorekeepers are needed for back up and to keep score together on home games, 1 for coach 1 for official score. Classes are available for free through the league, times to be announced. No experience is necessary.

Team Photographer – take pictures of the team at work and play. Coordinate with league web adminitrator to post photos on the league web site.
