CSA Collegiate Scholarships Available

We offer $2000 in scholarships to college-bound students who have previously played softball at CSA. Applicants need to have played some level of high school softball while carrying a GPA higher than 3.0. CSA is proud to offer this great opportunity for graduating seniors. The deadline for submission is Sunday, May 21, 2023. Interviews with the CSA Board of Directors will be scheduled for Wednesday, June 7th.

USA Softball SoCal Recreation League Scholarship

USA Softball Southern California sponsors an annual scholarship, with applications due July 1st. The eligibility requirements are as follows:

  • A senior in high school in good standing, having graduated or is graduating from high school this season
  • Has played on a USA Softball Southern California recreation team for at least two seasons and has NOT played Travel Ball.
  • A minimum GPA of 2.0
  • Does not have a full ride scholarship from any other organization

Please click on the link for the application and submittal instructions. Submittal materials include:

  • A letter stating personal goals and ambitions from the player, including the need for a scholarship
  • Three letters of recommendations, one from your school and two from sources other than your family
  • High school transcripts with GPA (does not have to be official)
  • List of community service awards, honors, and achievements

If the applicant is no longer playing softball, the Coach's Name and Team Name fields may be left blank, but please include the league(s) under "Current League Name". Please identify when the applicant played rec league - which years and total amount played.
